The Private Education Entrepreneurs Association of Malaysia (PEEAM) held its 2nd PEEAM Private Education Awards 2021, which was a huge success. As an Outstanding Educational Institutions, more than 50 private education firms from all throughout Malaysia were nominated.
The event was broadcast live over the internet on a virtual stage. Deputy Minister of Education Malaysia, Dato’ Dr Mah Hang Soon, hosted the event and has expressed interest in collaborating with education entrepreneurs to improve the quality of public and private education.
PEEAM Education Business Sustainability Award 2021, PEEAM Outstanding Education Centre in Year 2021, PEEAM Outstanding Education Franchisor 2021, PEEAM Outstanding Education Licensor 2021, PEEAM Inspiring Learning Spaces 2021, PEEAM Outstanding Education Product & Services 2021, and PEEAM Outstanding Virtual Learning 2021 were among the seven awards presented this year in recognition of outstanding private educational institutions, including Child Care centres.
Among the award-winning education companies, included are higher education institutions such as IPK College, Mont Royale College, Sentral College Penang, well-known chain education brands, Eduwis Sdn Bhd (Early Childhood Education), ATC Education (tuition centre), Ten Toes Academy (Early Childhood Education), Mywis Academy (Enrichment Day Care) and so on. AZ Preschool won five outstanding awards.
The Chairman of PEEAM, Puan Sri Nonadiah Abdullah said that the PEEAM Private Education Awards 2021 aims to recognise and honour the outstanding entrepreneurs, organizations and individuals who have made great contributions to lead and develop the education industry during the pandemic.
Organising Committee Chairman, Jeff Tan thanked all panel judges, Thavarajan A/L Subramaniam, Teoh Boon Hai, Puan Sri Nonadiah Abdullah, Dato’ Freida Pilus, Aisha Zanariah Abdullah, Hjh Mahanom Hj Basri and Juliana Ahmad, for participating in the assessment and screening of the shortlisted education companies.
