In collaboration with the Johor Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ), the KPRJ-HOPE 2020 Adopted Religious School Festival was hosted by Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor Sdn Bhd (KPRJ and held at the Main Hall of Yayasan Warisan Johor, Johor Bahru.
Tuan Haji Tosrin Jarvanthi, chairman of the Johor State Islamic Religious Affairs Committee, officiated the ceremony, which was also attended by Dato ‘Haji Mohd Noorazam Dato’ Haji Osman, Chief Executive Officer of KPRJ. The ceremony was the event’s opening programme, with Yayasan Warisan Johor (YWJ) participating as KPRJ’s strategic partner for the event venue, opening presentation, and special slot.
For the 2020 session, 9 religious schools from across Johor were chosen as KPRJ- HOPE foster schools. The selected schools are Sekolah Agama Ibnu Sina, Kulai, Sekolah Agama Bandar Putra 2, Kulai, Sekolah Agama Batu 26, Kulai, Sekolah Agama Indahpura, Kulai, Sekolah Agama Parit Semerah, Pontian, Sekolah Agama Bandar Pontian, Pontian, Sekolah Agama Melayu Ray.

Furthermore, students were also able to illustrate social issues that are currently being debated in the Da’i competition.
“As the main contractor of the Johor Government Religious School Development Project (SAKJ), KPRJ took constructive measures to continue to contribute to the religious schools concerned, beyond the role of providing facilities and comfortable schools,” said KPRJ CEO Dato ‘Haji Mohd Noorazam Dato’ Haji Osman.
According to him, the KPRJ- HOPE 2020 Adopted Religious School Festival, which has been held for the third time since 2018, is KPRJ’s initiative in developing diverse human capital among the students by improving religious education curriculum activities over time.
