As the country proclaimed the curve of infection has flattened, the battle has not ended yet. KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ) continues to support the frontliners, this time by donating 5,000 face masks and 1,000 sheets of protective clothing to Hospital Enche Besar Hajjah Khalsom Enche, Kluang, Johor (HEBHK).
KPJ, represented by the Kluang Utama Specialist Hospital’s General Manager, Khairul Hasanain Abdul Hamid handed over the donated items to Dr Maslina bt Yusop, as the Deputy Director of HEBHK on behalf of the frontline staff.
The donation is one of KPJ’s ongoing efforts to ensure that frontline personnel are always well-equipped and ready to meet any possible situations during this pandemic. Also, as a form of gratitude, the corporation hopes that this contribution will help alleviate the burden of public health care and ensure the supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) for COVID-19 health screening and treatment are adequate.
