EduCity Iskandar is proud to announce their new B.R.A.V.E communication pack that stands for ‘Be Ready Against Viruses Everywhere’, a new set of guidelines as part of their efforts in managing the COVID-19 pandemic. With the guidance provided by the Ministry of Health, these set of guidelines covers the EduCity Complexes 1 and 2 (EC1 & 2), EduCity Sports Complex (ESC), EduCity Village (EV) and EduCity Hub (EH). The new operating hours for EC1, EC2 and EV will be from 8.30 am until 5.30 pm, while ESC will be operating from 8.30 am until 7 pm while Hub will extend its operating hours until 10 pm.

With these new guidelines in place, EduCity Iskandar hopes to control the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of the students, staff, as well as visitors by constantly reminding them with tips and procedures through visual aids in and around their facilities.

Among the precautions included in the guidelines is that facemasks are compulsory, remember to keep your social distance as well as undergo health screening and declaration each time you enter one of the premises listed. There will also be a guideline for the prayer room of each facility, with the number of people who can use the facility at one time will be restricted to the size of each prayer room.

Wan Ahmad Saifuddin Wan Ahmad Radzi, the Managing Director of EduCity Iskandar said, “We worked hard to ensure our B.R.A.V.E communication pack is out to give assurance and peace of mind to our partners and respective visitors.”

The public can now enjoy non-contact or social distancing sports such as badminton, table tennis, tennis and the running track that is now available at the sports complex where the guidelines include suggestions by the Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) & Kementerian Belia Dan Sukan (KBS). A new outdoor gym setup for CrossFit training is also available for the public.

EduCity Hub is also opening its doors to the community who wishes to use their facilities. The two-storey building includes rooms for multipurpose usage i.e meeting, seminars, discussion room, dance & fitness studio, a dedicated music studio and Fastspace (coworking space).  EduCity’s new coworking space offers the ideal solution for those looking to continue to grow their business flexibly, now at a limited time promotional rate of RM150 (normal fee RM200) for a hot desk with premium offerings without having to sink money into lease-breaking fees. Other types of space are also available i.e virtual office services and private office spaces.

For those who wish to stay at EduCity Village, short-stay rates are available for as low as RM100 per day. Featuring 210 hostel-type rooms and 66 apartment-style accommodation, the 12 ½ storey building offers 24-hour multi-tier security with CCTV surveillance, cafeteria, launderette, indoor games area, outdoor badminton, basketball court, to name a few.

If you need any immediate help, each premise will also be assigned a contact person for any further assistance, and you will find their contact details upon entry of the facility. There is also a set of guidelines for the shuttle bus service, which limits the amount of students allowed per trip. The Iskandar Puteri Community Bus will also run on a temporary schedule in order to cater to the travel needs of EduCity Iskandar residents.

It’s time to be brave and stand apart! Maintain the distance because the virus won’t.
