Senai International Airport’s visitors may enjoy free parking during lunch and dinner hour from 12.00pm to 2.00pm and from 6.00pm to 8.00pm all week from now until 31st July 2020.
The free parking campaign was rolled out by its airport operator, Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd, a Member of MMC group as part of the initiatives to boost local visitor-ship and to assist the airport’s retailers and F&B providers to recover after a slowdown period over the past few months.
Acting Chief Executive Officer, Kennedy Ayu said, “We would like to thank the Ministry of Transportation for easing the restrictions for meet and greeting as well as the public to enter the terminal building. With this initiative, we hope to encourage more demand to the airport’s retail and F&B while the air travelers starting to pick up.”
“We would also like to assure visitors that all the procedures and precautionary measures are in place according to the SOPs issued by the government such as requiring all visitors to register contact through contactless QR code, wear face mask and undergo body temperature screening before entering the airport. We have also placed markings to encourage social distancing, provide free hand sanitizers and increased disinfection routines especially at the common areas as the health and wellbeing of our customers remains our top priority,” he added.
Senai International Airport houses a total of 24 retail brands and 16 F&B outlets offering local and international flavors under one roof, providing convenient dining and shopping experience for both travelers and the local surrounding community.
The free parking promotion is applicable with any purchase from the airport’s retail and F&B outlets with no minimum amount. Visitors must validate their parking ticket and present their purchase receipt at Senai International Airport’s Information Counter before leaving to enjoy the complimentary parking.
