Project COVID-19

During this time of uncertainty and adversity when the Movement Control Order is still being enforced, there are families and individuals out there who are homeless and living in poverty.

Keeping this in mind, a few associates from the management team of Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort decided to start a donation drive to help these underprivileged groups. Since most of the staffs are home bound and working from home, messages were sent via WhatsApp last week and they were able to pool enough resources from their fellow colleagues who dipped into their pockets personally to donate 300 packets of meals consisting of fried rice, fried chicken and an apple each.

To ensure that they reach out to as many people as possible, the packed food were distributed to Plentong, Kota Masai, Desa Harmoni, Kg Dalam and Austin low cost area besides Taman Pasir Putih and Taman Scientex within the Pasir Gudang area on 20th April 2020 with the assistance of James Ho, founder of Yayasan Suria Johor Bahru; an NGO helping hunger and poverty relief and Iskandar Malaysia Social Hero Awards winner (IMSHA 2015).

May we continue helping others not only during these uncertain times but even during other difficult times that are within our means.
