It was afternoon when I arrived at Fraser Place Puteri Harbour in Iskandar Puteri. Before I checked in, I was met by Tia, the Marcom Executive who invited me to have lunch at their sleek and modern Swatches Café. I was spoilt for choices between Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Ambeng and Nasi Kukus from their Nasi Iskandar lunch set that comes with thirst-quenching Air cincau or a choice of either coffee or tea.

Upon checking-in, I was mesmerised at the spacious lobby with bright, white light that could host a large number of people comfortably like conference participants, travel groups and so on. Tia told me the hotel received a lot of long-term visitors and my room, the Studio Deluxe at Level 12 will tell me why.
As I entered the room, a washing machine, mini bar and induction cooktop – all the essentials needed for a long stay are available. What took my breath away is the fluffy, King-sized bed overlooking the Sea View where I could see the Marina Walk Puteri Harbour and Teega Walk with plenty of convenience stores, cafes and restaurants just a walking distance away.
Whilst logging in to their high speed Wi-Fi, I noticed the bathtub – simply perfect for relaxing after a hard work’s day! Heading back to the lobby, I was informed there are 296 units available for accommodation to suit any business travellers or families be it short or long stay in their 25-storey building. All units are equipped with a washing machine, coffee machine and the bathtub including bathroom amenities.
Any events with a large number of people could easily find their venue in Fraser Place’s Meeting Room with the largest Kingfisher I and II combined that could fit up to 800 pax.
Moreover, the coordinators are always ready to help you with the size of event you are hosting.
My evening was simple – soaking in the tub drinking complimentary tea, then lying cosily on the huge bed as I ordered room service which was a huge, juicy burger! Needless to say, my night was a smooth sailing with quiet and calm surroundings, far from the bustling city.
Waking up to the dawn’s sunlight hitting my face is like a fairy tale, yet that was what I have experienced. I looked forward to my American Breakfast consisting of croissant, toast, fluffy omelette, sausage and baked beans; all freshly prepared at Swatches Café. Guests are able to make choices from American, Asian, Oriental and Vegetarian breakfast sets. Coffee, tea and cold fruit juices are available bottomless.
The filling and hearty breakfast fueled me for the day, and it was time for me to check out and hit the busy hours. My overnight stay at Fraser Place Puteri Harbour had rejuvenated me with a good feeling, mindset, well-rested body and renewed soul. All I have to do now is take their free shuttle bus to head out to either Senai Airport or to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort or any popular shopping malls nearby!
