After bringing their energetic performance to São Paulo, WOLF HOWL HARMONY from EXILE TRIBE is bringing the party to fans’ feeds. The Japanese vocal and rap group shared the chorus of “Gachi Funk,” sung entirely in Portuguese, on TikTok and Instagram on 4 October 2026. Originally released in February, the track combines J-POP with Brazilian funk, drawing on member GHEE’s Brazilian roots through his contribution to the lyrics.
The announcement follows a memorable Brazil debut at Anime Friends 2026, where the group performed to around 30,000 attendees across two shows on 2nd and 5th July 2026. The festival welcomed approximately 230,000 visitors over four days, and “Gachi Funk” proved a natural crowd favourite, with fans singing its Portuguese lines during the performance.
Beyond the festival stage, the Brazil visit generated prominent local online features and social media posts, including Domingo Espetacular’s coverage of GHEE’s emotional reunion with his grandmother, interviews with BreakTudo and Febre Teen, and a cover appearance on NPOMV’s first J-Zine. The group also caught football fever at Corinthians’ Neo Química Arena, shouting out a spirited “Vai, Corinthians!” chant during a visit shared on the tour’s social channels and covered by Meu Timão.
Now, WOLF HOWL HARMONY is driving that enthusiasm digitally. The Portuguese audio is part of the group’s wider push into Latin America, building on Portuguese-language livestreams, Brazilian-inspired social content and their first meetings with local fans. It brings a familiar song closer to Brazilian listeners while giving newcomers a fresh way to discover the group.
Member GHEE shared: “We hope that more people, not only in Brazil but across Latin America and around the world, will get to know WOLF HOWL HARMONY’s music. We hope that one day we can visit more countries, meet everyone face-to-face, and have more opportunities to sing together. The Portuguese version of “Gachi Funk” is a step for us to connect with people around the world.”
GHEE has also shared that he is learning Spanish and hopes to bring their music to audiences in Mexico, Chile, Peru and Argentina. Building on the enthusiastic welcome they received in Brazil, the group now sets its vision on reaching more fans around the world.
