Following the birth of a daughter to Johor Regent His Royal Highness Tunku Mahkota Ismail, their Majesties Sultan Ibrahim and Raja Zarith Sofiah; the King and Queen of Malaysia, have welcomed their seventh grandchild.
On Sunday, HRH Tunku Mahkota Ismail was with Her Royal Highness Che’ Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor, when she gave birth to the couple’s fifth child safely, according to a Facebook post and an official statement from the Johor Royal Council.
According to reports, the mother and child are both doing well.
The Johor Council of Royal Court president, Datuk Dr Abdul Rahim Ramli, made the royal declaration.
Additionally, the Johor Council of Royal Court prayed for the Johor royal family’s continued well-being, happiness, and blessings.
Che’ Puan Mahkota Khaleeda and Tunku Mahkota Ismail were married on 24th October 2014, at the Istana Bukit Serene. The royal couple now has five children, including two sons and three daughters.
