Private Education Entrepreneurs Association of Malaysia (PEEAM) is proud to announce the highly anticipated 2024 Mega Event for Private Education – International Education Symposium 2024 (IES2024), set to take place on 29th June 2024, at Cheras North International Convention Centre (CNICC).

Hosted by PEEAM in collaboration with KEDIOS BERHAD as the official event partner and supported by private education division, Ministry of Education, this event serves as a pivotal platform, spotlighting innovation, sustainability, and excellence within the private education sector.

2024 Mega Event comprises three pivotal programmes:

The Symposium: Anchored on the theme “Advancing Global Private Education for Sustainability”, this programme will delve deep into sustainable practices pivotal for the evolution of private education. Esteemed speakers, both local and international, will explore various facets such as education quality, innovation, business sustainability, and talent development.

Founder Stage Pitching Competition: An exclusive opportunity for private education entrepreneurs, this competition offers a stage for participants to pitch their visionary ideas to 50 investors, comprising venture capitalists, private equities, and angel investors. With a total prize pool of RM164,000 up for grabs, including a grand prize of RM50,000 and,  participants will also benefit from invaluable mentorship and collaboration opportunities throughout the competition.

Distinguished judges from diverse sectors, including venture capitalists, private equities, incubators, accelerators, and legal experts, will adjudicate the pitches. Moreover, representatives from ministries and government agencies will grace the event, providing invaluable insights and support. Additionally, an education venture fund of RM1 million has been earmarked to support promising projects emerging from the competition.

Now in its third edition, PEEAM EduAwards stand as the pinnacle of recognition in the private education domain. Revered as the industry benchmark, these awards celebrate excellence and innovation across various categories. With an impressive 44 awards up for grabs, winners will be selected by a panel of esteemed judges comprising auditors, industry experts, and representatives from ministries and government agencies.

Key highlights of the event includes over 1,000 education entrepreneurs in attendance, 10 local and international speakers sharing insights, 30 education exhibitors showcasing innovative solutions, participation from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and China with the presence of representatives from Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (MECD).

Registration for the event is now open at RM400 per person, granting access to the Symposium, Founder Stage spectatorship, and the prestigious PEEAM EduAwards Night. Additionally, the event is HRDF claimable, providing added value to attendees.
