Making a bee line down to Thistle Johor Bahru hotel’s Glass Restaurant is always a favourite task of mine besides the food it serves as you could see an array of dishes beautifully arranged at the hall and the tall glass windows that allows natural sunlight in, makes the food look even tastier from above.
Since I was told earlier that fish symbolises longevity in Chinese reunion dinners, I instinctively saw the many choices of fish-based dishes. Packing in some omega-3; my large helpings of the freshly Baked Salmon with Cream sauce was the wisest decision I made as it was so delicious and easy on the palate.
As if I could not get enough of salmon, I then took plenty of Salmon Sashimi slices with drizzles of fresh lemon.
More seafood such as clams, oysters and prawns are also available on ice for barbecue just right outside the restaurant. You can choose satays, marinated poultry and meat too if you fancy those.
Bringing a group of family and friends with variety of choices is so easy here as it gives everyone something to look forward too.
Known for its desserts and pastries, do not miss the freshly made French pastries that surprisingly goes so well with all the savoury delicacies that would make anyone smile.
