Forest City has issued an official statement in response to a viral video depicting the partial collapse of a connecting road to Forest City.
According to the statement, the event occurred at 2 pm, approximately one km away from the road connecting Forest City, and no casualties had been reported.
“At present, Forest City project staff and relevant technical personnel have arrived at the scene for emergency action.”
“Right after the incident, Forest City immediately got in touch with the relevant government departments for setback management and cause investigation.” The statement said.
“In line with our fundamental principle, – Safety First, People First, Forest City will conduct a thorough inspection of the entire bridge. Forest City will actively cooperate with government departments to carry out the necessary actions and procedures as deemed fit in order to ensure the safety of the users.”
The statement concludes with gratitude for the public’s concern and an assurance that the recovery construction and updates will be posted on Forest City’s official social media account.
