The current number of COVID-19 cases shows a worrying trend, and businesses and individuals are severely affected by this pandemic. Despite this tough period, Country Garden Malaysia-Singapore Region is putting its hopes high that the storm will pass and that it will regain positive business momentum again.
Here some of the activities executed in the past month by the Group:
- On 24th October 2020, representatives of the Malaysian Natural Society (MNS) visited Forest City Eco Museum, the Green Eco Corridor as well as the seagrass conservation area. Forest City Eco Museum is not only a base for science education, but also an idea exchanging platform for the local scientific research institutions and environmental groups.
- RAM gave Country Garden Malaysia Sukuk a rating of AA3 investment grade and stable outlook for 4 consecutive years.
- On 3rd November 2020, the Johor Digital Economy Centre was launched in Country Garden Danga Bay. The two parties will work together to help develop Johor into a regional trade centre for e-commerce.
This December, Forest City will celebrate its 5th year anniversary since it was launched in 2014. Throughout the years, there are various ups and downs experiences faced and Forest City has always been adhering to the corporate mission “To create a better society with our existence”. Along with the transformation, series of continuous efforts in environmental protection and multicultural integration has been executed and will be continued.
