MuzArt International is proud to announce the conclusion of its nationwide kids’ creativity and imagination contest themed ‘To See The Beauty of Life’. After receiving an overwhelming response of 1316 artworks from children and teenagers aged 4 to 18 nationwide, the final winners have been chosen and 771 children’s artworks and 33 adults’ artworks were exhibited at Galeri Seni Johor from 12 to 19 March 2023.

The ‘To See The Beauty of Life’ contest was specifically designed post-COVID using the owl as the key presentation on art development to represent that we can see in the dark and find beauty in a challenging world. The contest reactivated children’s passion for life and inspired them with the beauty of life, by encouraging them to unleash their imagination and creativity by creating a handmade, creative and unique owl to represent their ideas, and increase awareness of children’s mental health post the COVID-19 pandemic.

MuzArt International also included a CSR activity in the contest, in which the children sold their artwork to raise money for families affected by the recent flood in Johor.

“We are proud to announce that the children’s artwork sales have raised a total of RM1000 to  support Johor flood relief efforts. We are extremely grateful to the children who participated in our contest and raised funds for Johor flood relief efforts through their artwork sales. We are also proud of the level of creativity and imagination displayed by the young participants in response to the ‘To See The Beauty of Life’ theme,” said Shannics Teh, Founder and CEO of MuzArt International.

We hope that through this contest and the CSR activity, we have succeeded in encouraging children to find beauty in life, promote awareness of children’s mental health post-COVID and instilling a sense of empathy and social responsibility,” she continued.
