
Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB) has announced methods to address the remaining balance in the previous parking fee app; MBJBSpot, that is void of use since 1st May 2026.
Through its social media posts, the city council informed that users may complete the form online at https://mbjbspot.southmax.com.my/mbjbspot/ in regard to the balance credit in MBJBSpot.
Alternatively, the public can physically visit the Menara MBJB or MBJB branch office during working hours from 04th May 2026 until 31st May 2026.
Earlier, the city council has announced that payment for the parking space in the city would only be accepted via ParkMax@Johor, ceasing the earlier MBJBSpot mobile phone application.
The announcement was made through its social media on 15th April 2026.
MBJBSpot users are encouraged to use up all remaining credits in their apps by 30th April 2026 and download the ParkMax@Johor app available in AppleStore and Google Playstore.
On 16th April 2026, a follow-up statement was made public, guaranteeing that the public’s concerns regarding the integration and transfer of remaining credits in MBJBSpot will be addressed equitably, in order, and with the importance of users in mind.
