Town Hall session with manufacturers were held to encourage input in revitalising the area
On 22nd August 2019, a Publicity and Public Involvement of Special Area Planning (RKK) Draft MBJB Industrial Area (Review) 2025 Programme Launch and Town Hall session with MBJB’s manufacturers was held at KSL Hotel & Resort.
The RKK review is a renewed programme previously launched in 2008. One of its key segments is to solve the problem of illegal waste dumping by the factories around Johor.
As a part of making Johor the Southern Economic Powerhouse, the programme is to advance the industrial sector in order for foreign investment taking interest in Johor, strengthening the capital whilst having the global level of technology skill and marketing network.
Majority of the projects under RKK is Quick Win based and is possible to be mobilised by all.
