Aiding healthcare facilities has become a top priority for businesses in all sectors of the Malaysian economy so as to provide the best service for everyone. According to the data shared by MoH’s data centre, hospitals were required to provide enough facilities to accommodate patients, and the capacity of the Sultanah Aminah Hospital in Johor Bahru has increased by 111.9% by 2024.
Recently, Maxim E-hailing Malaysia collaborated with the management of the Sultanah Aminah Hospital by providing several aid items to improve the hospital’s infrastructure. Mohd Hazwan Musley, Director of Maxim E-hailing Malaysia and Mohamad Fitri Bin Md. Ali, Chief Assistant Director (development and procurement) attended the ceremony.
Twelve benches, 10 sets of 3-seater link chairs, several non-smoking and pick-up point signs were donated to the hospital’s management. The items were placed in waiting areas of pharmacies, doctor rooms, emergency rooms, wards, and at drop-off points.
“I am so grateful for this opportunity to collaborate with Maxim to provide seating in the hospital waiting areas where everyone will appreciate it. This effort also counts as improving the facilities,” said Mohamad Fitri Bin Md. Ali, Chief Assistant Director.
The donated benches and chairs can benefit patients, visitors, pregnant women, kids, the disabled, families with small kids, and all the people who need a place to sit. Waiting times at the hospital are usually quite long, and now people can wait in comfort.
“Maxim is very proud of the opportunity to be part of this collaboration to provide the hospital with better facilities. Providing seating can enhance the overall experience for many parties, making it more convenient for them to wait before getting the treatment. It’s a thoughtful gesture that can help strengthen our relationships with the community,” said Mohd Hazwan Musley, Director of Maxim Malaysia.
