Maslee Express has opened their 16th outlet at Taman Molek near Molek Pine apartments on 17th August 2020, officiated by Johor Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) director, Mohd Hairul Anuar Bohno with Tanjung Bintang Chief Executive Officer, Frank Goon Swee Kheong, Maslee Operational Director, Lee Boon Lye and Maslee Express General Manager, Gan Hiong Huat.
Maslee’s Food Bank, a joint programme with KPDNHEP Johor was also launched on the opening day, making it the 5th outlet after Maslee Pontian, Maslee Pekan Nenas, Maslee Desaru and Pasarbella Halal Park to host the effort. The food bank allows the community around the area to donate items to the needy families that were listed and recognised by KPDNHEP themselves.
The merry and bustling opening of the new supermarket sees its first tenant, Vburg patisserie, a vegetarian-based bakery that offers vegetarian-friendly baked goods, opening its second store from its headquarters in Skudai. The public may also expect Tea Garden KuuVanChaa as its second tenant to open by the end of this year.
Visitors may join Maslee’s very own membership ‘CU OK’ by downloading its mobile application from Apple store and Playstore to enjoy even further reduction of price from its already low pricing. According to Maslee’s General Manager, Gan Hiong Huat, Maslee would have another supermarket in Taman Daya neighbourhood and is expected to open by the end of this year or early next year.
