LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort Unveils Frontliner Tribute Murals and 3,000 Park Access Tickets

Appreciating the local frontliners’ efforts in curbing and fighting the COVID-19 pandemic with the cooperation of Malaysian Association of Hotels Johor Chapter and Tourism Johor

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort has unveiled five life-size LEGO Frontliner Tribute Murals made of 150,000 pieces of Lego bricks depicting the many faces of real life heroes that have been relentlessly working to keep the COVID-19 pandemic at bay.

The brainchild of the resort’s employees alongside the Malaysian Adult Fans of Lego Bricks were completed within 9 full days in the span of a month, depicting portraits of frontliners such as the doctors, medical practitioners, government officials, policemen and army as well as various essential workers from delivery riders to cleaners and media personnel.

Officiated by the Johor Menteri Besar, Datuk Ir. Hasni Mohammad, the unveiling event was also attended by Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister of Health Malaysia Dato’ Sri Dr Adham Baba along with Johor state’s Health and Environment Committee Chairman R. Vidyananthan, Johor Tourism, Youth and Sports Committee Chairman Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Johor Police Chief, Dato’ Ayob Khan bin Mydin Pitchay, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort Chairman Stephanie Saw and LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort Divisional Director, C.S. Lim.

The resort extended a total of 3,000 park access tickets as a well-deserved break to the representatives of five departments’ frontliners that include Johor State Government, Royal Malaysian Police Johor, Malaysian Armed Forces, Fire and Rescue Department Johor and Johor State Health Department. Exclusive deals for other frontliners nationwide is also available which includes 50% off day passes and hotel stay at LEGOLAND Hotel in the effort to support the local tourism with Malaysian Association of Hotels Johor Chapter (MAH-JC) namely ‘Play in LEGOLAND, Stay in Johor’ package.
