0

This Ramadan, SKS Hospitality invites Malaysians to come together in the most familiar way possible – over food, conversation, and shared moments – with the launch of JOM MAKAN MALAYSIA, a month-long Ramadan dining campaign running until 18th March 2026.

Curated in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and Visit Johor Year 2026, JOM MAKAN MALAYSIA celebrates the way Malaysians breaking of fast – not just through flavours, but through togetherness, familiarity, and a deep sense of belonging.

Spanning three distinct hotels across Johor, the campaign presents three destinations and three dining expressions, each offering a different perspective of Ramadan, yet united by one shared invitation that resonates across generations – Jom Makan.

At the heart of JOM MAKAN MALAYSIA is the idea that Ramadan is experienced differently by everyone, yet always anchored by the same values – warmth, generosity, and connection. From the city to the coast, from contemporary settings to kampung-inspired tables, each hotel brings its own interpretation of how Malaysians gather during the holy month.

  • Fives Johor Bahru City Centre – RM300 nett for 2 persons
  • AmanSari Desaru – RM260 nett for 2 persons

In the spirit of Ramadan, JOM MAKAN MALAYSIA also carries a meaningful commitment beyond the table. For every JOM MAKAN, MALAYSIA dining package purchased at any of the three participating hotels throughout the campaign period, RM1 will be channelled to the SKS Hospitality Little HELANG Fund, supporting educational initiatives for Rumah Fitrah Qaseh, SKS Hospitality’s adopted home.

This contribution reflects a simple belief – that the act of gathering and sharing during Ramadan can also create opportunities for others. Through Little HELANG, SKS Hospitality continues its commitment to nurturing young lives through education, ensuring that every meal enjoyed during Ramadan helps play a small part in building a brighter future.

As a subtle nod to Johor’s cultural identity, the visual language of JOM MAKAN MALAYSIA is inspired by Kain Benang Johor, a traditional hand-woven plaid fabric known for its craftsmanship and heritage. Much like Ramadan itself, the fabric symbolises patience, care, and the beauty of many elements coming together as one.

JOM MAKAN MALAYSIA reflects the diversity of Malaysia itself – one campaign, expressed through different places, flavours, and experiences. Each table tells a different story of Ramadan, yet all are bound by the same spirit of togetherness.
