The annual premier travel fair combines the fun of indoor theme parks this April
Johor MATTA (The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents) Fair 2019 is coming to you on 5th till 7th April at a new venue; the Capital City Entertainment Mall, in Tampoi, Johor Bahru. The 3-day fair is expected to have 150 booths comprising 4 State tourism organisations; Tourism Johor, Tourism Melaka, Tourism Perak and Kuala Lumpur Tourism Bureau, 2 national Tourist Organisations; Taiwan Tourism Bureau KL Office and Japanese Kochi Visitors & Convention Association along with 29 travel agencies, 7 theme parks, hotels & resorts and 10 travel related services.
Kathryn Lee, the MATTA Johor Chapter’s Chairman said during a press conference that the fair is organising their first nightly lucky draw for both visitors and purchasers daily at 9pm. Visitors could win exclusive tickets from Malaysia Airlines and for purchasers who spend RM500 and above, they would stand a chance to win a Travel Voucher. The grand total of both categories’ prizes is worth RM88,888.00.
Visitors can also look forward to Kochi Prefecture’s Japanese cultural dance performance on stage for the entire three days duration or join in the fun to make your own Taiwanese lantern, postcard painting, winter melon tea with tapioca ball and devilled eggs hosted by Taiwan Tourism Bureau.
The Johor MATTA Fair 2019’s entrance is free for children aged 12 years old and below and is as low as RM3 for adults.
