Singaporean singer-songwriter Haven returns with her latest single “Future Somebody” via WILD Group/Universal Singapore.
“Future Somebody” is Haven’s debut release under WILD, a self-written anthem about her journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Haven describes the lyrics as an allusion to her pursuit of freedom and inner strength, as well as her journey towards learning to become her own ‘future somebody.’
The song features production from Zie of acclaimed alt r&b group brb. In addition, the music video for the track drops on 6th February 2023.
Born and raised in Singapore, Haven discovered her talents and passion for songwriting, singing and performing from a young age.
In her short tenure as an artist she has collaborated with international artists such as Kyle Echarri, and was part of the Southeast Asian collaboration “HEAL” to raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts in the Philippines.
In 2022, Haven signed with international hybrid entertainment company WILD Group, whose roster includes notable artists SORN and the Hammington family. She has worked with brands including Prada, YSL, and Fendi, and has been featured in publications such as The Straits Times and Nuyou Magazine.
With a following of over 600,000 followers on social media, Haven has cultivated a strong fan-base across Southeast Asia with her bubbly and relatable personality. She has been known for creating viral content on TikTok, where she primarily connects with her audience. 2023 is set to be a year of immense growth for Haven as an artist.
