Hard Rock International continues its annual campaign for PINKTOBER as the brand comes together once again to support breast cancer awareness and research with limited-edition merchandise, food and beverage menu items, Rock Spa treatments, and local events.
Throughout the month of October, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast will be participating in the campaign through fundraising efforts supporting the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, the charitable arm of Hard Rock, with proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Support Group Johor Bahru and its efforts to provide affordable silicone breast prosthesis to breast cancer patients and survivors. Hard Rock continues to live out its mottos of “Love All – Serve All” and “Take Time To Be Kind” with its steadfast support throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with the goal of lending a hand to the people and communities that need it most.
“Last year, our efforts successfully raised RM10,000, which were channelled to assist in providing silicone breast prostheses to more than 30 breast cancer survivors,” said Murray Aitken, General Manager at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. “This year, we are taking our initiatives to greater heights by donating RM2 for every room booked for October 2022. I believe it is also empowering to share with our hotel guests that they are contributing to a good cause when they book with us. In addition to the donation, we hope to rally forward with more impactful activities that together, we can make a difference and bring a unifying message of strength, hope and awareness, especially for those affected by the disease.”

The proceeds will be channelled to the Breast Cancer Support Group Johor Bahru. Guests are also welcome to donate a higher amount at their own discretion to support the cause.

This year, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast will be showcasing two uniquely designed PINKTOBER merchandise – the PINKTOBER Cap and PINKTOBER Pin. PINKTOBER Takes the Stage – A Virtual Awareness Talk
On 20th October 2022, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast will partner with Breast Cancer Support Group Johor Bahru to organize its second virtual breast cancer awareness table talk show. The session will be hosted on Facebook Live from 4.30 pm to 5.45 pm, with guest speakers from various fields including medical professionals, nutritionists and breast cancer survivors.
