The New Year 2020 celebration was made even more memorable at Gleneagles Hospital Medini Johor when the hospital welcomed four newborn babies on this special day.
A baby girl, weighing 3.24 kg was the first baby born in the Hospital on New Year’s Day and was delivered safely at 9.31am. The baby’s mother, Yap Shin Yi, 32, who works as Quality Assurance Engineer in Singapore was happy that she experienced a smooth journey during labour and delivery. Her husband, also an engineer in Singapore was hoping to have a New Year baby and their wish came true. Both parents were also happy with their doctor and the team of friendly nurses.

Low Yi Hong, 33, also delivered her first baby girl at 11.32 am on New Year’s Day. Low did not expect a New Year’s baby as her expected delivery date was on 7th January 2020 but she was happy that everything went well, thanks to the team of experienced doctors and nurses. Her husband, Lee Yoong Kang, 35, was happy with the excellent care and service rendered at the hospital.
Ng Pei Ting, 32, Financial Controller, delivered her baby boy at 1.36 pm, shared that it was a surprise New Year’s gift as the whole experience was unexpected. Her husband, Ng Wei Lun, a Finance Audit Director, was happy that delivery was smooth. He thanked the doctors and nurses for the entire journey.
The Hospital also presented special gifts to the lucky parents and congratulated them on the arrival of their newborns.
Gleneagles Hospital Medini Johor recently announced its expansion of new exclusive all single bedded ward in conjunction with its 4th year anniversary, offering bigger and better room comfort for patients.
