The Sun-tastic Getaway @ Desaru Coast campaign, valid until 31st May 2020, offers families and holidaymakers the most comprehensive experience of the destination. This first all-encompassing promotion packages offer full-board and curated activities within the destination and around greater Desaru. The packages bundle rooms at the destination’s three premium hotels – Hard Rock Hotel, The Westin and Anantara, together with tickets to one of the largest water parks in the region, The Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark, dining experiences at restaurants within the destination along with other attractions in the local area.
For golf enthusiasts, Desaru Coast offers its first unlimited packages. The Golf Galore packages include hotel stays, dining and unrestricted hours of golfing at two of its world-class golf courses, The Els Club Valley Course and The Els Club Ocean Course.

Stay Well @ Desaru Coast – Strengthened Precautionary Measures at Desaru Coast

In the wake of COVID-19, Desaru Coast has proactively strengthened its health and safety precautionary measures with its Stay Well @ Desaru Coast programme. The programme is purposed to ensure all recommended and best practice health and safety measures are upheld at all times across the destination and to build awareness and share information on socially responsible practices which can help lessen the spread of the virus.
Under this programme, all employees at Desaru Coast have undergone briefing sessions and receive frequent updates on the latest medical recommendations and appropriate measures. On the ground, infrared temperature screenings for all employees have been implemented. The destination’s emergency response protocols have also been aligned with the local health authorities’ guidelines.
At the point of check-in at hotels, along with temperature screening, all guests are further screened based on a recommended health questionnaire protocol. Guests are advised to reach out to hotel personnel should they feel unwell or consult a doctor immediately.
Beyond these measures, all hotels, golf clubs and attractions have increased the cleaning frequency and sanitisation across their premises, with further attention at the public spaces.
