Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri’s “Titian Kasih” CSR Programme Benefits Anwarul Mahabbah Care Centre

In conjunction with the holy month, Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri (CAH-IP) gives back to society through its signature project ‘Titian Kasih literally translates to ‘bridging love’, an accurate description of what CAH-IP does to connect its medical services to the community by lending a helping hand. 

Collaborating with its Sports and Recreation Club (SRC), CAH-IP’s Corporate Social  Responsibility (CSR) benefits Anwarul Mahabbah Care Centre (AMCC), an elderly nursing home located in Larkin, Johor, with 30 occupants. The initiative aims to help the nursing home by donating basic daily essentials after receiving feedback from the home about their needs. 

The items were contributed by doctors and staff of the hospital. 

Handing over the contribution were Chief of Nursing, Jamilah Ithnin, CAH-IP SRC President also  Physiotherapist, Amirul Ariffin Hanin and Marketing Manager, Ahmad Fahmy Fahd Abdullah.

“Columbia Asia Hospital plays a role in promoting health awareness to the public. Our aim is to host more CSR events promoting health-related awareness and healthy lifestyle campaigns which include health screenings and health talks by our specialists for the public in various locations in Johor,” says General Manager, Dr Ding Eng Li. 

“As a healthcare provider, we must also give back to the community,” she concludes. 

Meanwhile, Hayati Saad, AMCC Officer thanked CAH-IP for the generous contributions. 

“Thank you, CAH-IP for the items contributed to the centre. We look forward to collaborating in the  future in terms of health awareness activities and health screenings for our occupants.”
