Nasi Lemak Sambal Tuna

Instead of the usual sambal ikan bilis, how about you pair this dish with sambal tuna? Prep time: 15 minutes, cook time: 25 minutes, serves: 4 pax

Ingredients A: Sambal Tuna

2 cans of Ayam Brand Tuna Chunks In Olive Oil Light 150g

2 tbsp cooking oil

2 stalks of Lemongrass

2 tsp of minced garlic

1 tbsp of chopped onion

2 tbsp chilli paste

1 tsp minced ginger

1 tbsp Sugar

1 tbsp Salt

water for grind


Preparation Method: Ingredient A

1. To prepare the sambal, grind the onion, garlic, chilli paste, and ginger using water.

2. Open the Ayam Brand Tuna Chunks In Olive Oil Light cans and pour it into the pan and add cooking oil.

3. Once the tuna has heated up, saute the grind ingredients, and add the sugar, salt and lemongrass.

4.  Mix well then add the tuna and cook until dry.

Ingredients B: Nasi Lemak

4 cups rice

6 cups water

1 pack Ayam Brand Coconut Milk 200ml

2 stalks of pandan leaves (tied into a knot)

enough salt

Preparation Method: Ingredient B

1. Wash the rice and put it in a rice cooker.
2. Add water, Ayam Brand Coconut Milk, pandan leaves, and a pinch of salt.
3. Mix all the ingredients in the rice cooker and cook as usual.

How to serve: Serve the rice with side dishes such as fried anchovies, peanuts,  sambal tuna and slices of cucumber.
