Johor to be MATTA’s prime and focused destination in its national level fair
President of Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair, Datuk Tan Kok Liang has announced that Johor would be the prime destination for national level MATTA fair at PWTC from 6th to 8th September, 2019 at Johor MATTA Fair 2019 at Capital City Expo, Johor Bahru on 2nd of August, Friday.
More promotions and advertisements would be made to entice tourists to visit Johor and that includes prints, billboards and the main facade in the MATTA fair Kuala Lumpur. Datuk Tan Kok Liang also welcomes more stakeholders and partners to make the promotion Johor even greater for the upcoming fair.
In parallel to MATTA’s announcement of Johor becoming the main focus of its national-level exhibition, Solehudin Ahmad, Tourism Malaysia Southern Region Director mentioned that the Johor tourism’s logo and mascots would be officially launched within the month.
MATTA Johor Chapter has organised 30 MATTA Fair in Johor Bahru and 9 MATTA Fair in Batu Pahat, Johor since 1999. Johor MATTA Fair 2019 for this round has Tourism Johor as State Tourism Organization and Korea Tourism Organization for National Tourism Organization. Over 50 exhibitors comprising of Travel Agencies, Theme Park, Hotel & Resorts and travel related services making up a total of 160 booths.
Stand a chance to win a lucky draw of Travel Voucher and air tickets up to a total value of RM100,000. There will be two categories for the lucky draw, one for purchasers who has spent minimum RM500 at the exhibition draw where it would happen on the 4th August 2019 at 10pm while lucky draw for visitors would be held daily at 9.30pm.
Johor MATTA Fair 2019 is happening all weekend, 2nd August to 4th August 2019 from Friday to Sunday with entrance fee of RM3 for adult and free for children below 12 years old.
