Through its flagship programme, ‘Titian Kasih,’ Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri (CAH-IP) gives back to society. This literally translates to ‘bridging love,’ which is a fitting expression of what CAH-IP accomplishes to bridge the gap between its medical services and the community.

CAH-IP’s Corporate Social Responsibility has benefited Rumah Jagaan Warga Emas Nur Ehsan by collaborating with its Sports and Recreation Club (SRC). With 105 residents, this nursing facility is located in Kempas, Johor Bahru. After obtaining input on the nursing home’s needs, the hospital assisted them by supplying basic daily necessities. The supplies were donated by the hospital’s doctors and personnel.

Handing over the contribution was Chief of Nursing, Jamilah Ithnin, CAH-IP SRC President, also Physiotherapist, Amirul Ariffin Hanin and Dietician, Yap Pau Lin.

“Columbia Asia Hospital plays a role in promoting health awareness to the public. Our aim is to host more CSR events promoting health-related awareness and healthy lifestyle campaigns which include health screenings and health talks by our specialists for the public in various locations in Johor,” said General Manager, Dr Ding Eng Li.

“As a healthcare provider, we must also give back to the community,” she concluded.
