The year is almost over and finally it’s time to look back and celebrate the milestones we have had.
A widely celebrated holiday; Christmas is almost here, and what better than to get together with family, friends, and colleagues during this festive time? Cafe BLD of Renaissance has something for everyone, right from extensive selections of appetisers, to the charcuterie board, meat carvings, and fresh from the stove pasta, to local traditional favourites, and all the holiday delights that one could think of is available for REN Christmas Buffet.
My personal favourite was the various meat carvings—from Classic Beef Wellington to Baked Salmon and Rotisserie Turkey, precisely cut for individual servings, perfect to start off the season’s celebration. The Wellington was a hit among the patrons, and there are selections of sauces from traditional to fusions in choices for guests to indulge in.
Walk out to the balcony area, and you will be mesmerised by the whiff of assorted pasta, cooked to your liking. The Squid ink pasta was one of the favourites on the day of their media review. Next to the pasta station, take your pick from the eye-catching cheese board and have freshly squeezed fruit juices served in bottles.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day itself, get ready to pose with the extensive spread of desserts – be it the macaroons’ and trees of cream puffs, or the huge, extended Yule log cake. Don’t be shy and pluck the desert; it is beyond decoration!
As for local food enthusiasts, there are rice with delectable choices of Malay’s lauk-pauk, Chinese dishes and noodles, Indian naans, lemon rice and curries. My favourite to add to my Christmas plate was the Szechuan Fried Chicken and the Masak Lemak.
Seen what you like to have this Christmas season? REN Christmas Buffet is available for booking on 24th and 25th of December. Dinner on both days is from 6.30pm to 10pm, while the Lunch buffet on Christmas day (25th December) is from 12pm to 3pm.
The dinner buffet is priced at RM208nett per adult and RM104nett per child age 6 to 12 years old while the lunch buffet is priced RM148nett per adult, RM74nett per child age 6 to 12 years old.
