Ayam Brand Organic Baked Beans Mexican Style Salsa Dip with Tortilla Chips

Most Malaysians, especially kids, love Ayam Brand Baked Beans. Perhaps it is the taste and texture of perfectly cooked large whole Northern Haricot beans, the rich comforting tomato sauce, the fun of spearing individual beans with a fork or its association with continental breakfasts, picnics and camping trips with family.

Baked beans provide fibre and plant-based protein[1]. They’re also a good source of thiamine[2], zinc[3], and selenium[4], which support energy production, immune function, and thyroid health. Save the planet for the next generation by going meatless at least once a week, replace meat with baked beans or other plant proteins to increase your nutrient intake while helping to cut down carbon emission.

Start creating unforgettable bonding moments with your young ones using Ayam Brand Baked Beans and try out the following recipe together:

Movie afternoons or nights require snacks. Make it healthy, nutritious and exotic with the Ayam Brand Organic Baked Beans Mexican Style Salsa Dip with Tortilla Chips.

Method

  1. In a blender or food processor let your child whizz up 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 can Ayam Brand Organic Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce, the juice of half a lemon, pepper, salt and chilli flakes to taste. Control the texture of the dip, a quick pulse for chunky dip, and longer for a smooth paste.
  2. Make the salsa by combining chopped tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, lemon juice and a quarter can of drained Ayam Brand Sweet Cup Corn. Your little one can help tear up cilantro, squeeze the lemon and drain the corn.
  3. Pour the dip into a small bowl, top with salsa and serve with tortilla chips. An amazingly easy and nutritiously addictive snack that you made with your little one.
