Jalan Pontian Lama is the route you’d want to take to head to Pulai Springs Resort, Johor’s exquisite 28 Days Buffet Ala Baazar’. Delighted to have been invited over, my colleagues and I arrived earlier than 7pm greeted by a buffet spread that is all prepped and ready for guests.
Charlotte, the Marketing Communications Manager brings to our attention that there are 150 over must-have buka puasa dishes for us to choose from while reminding us that the desserts and fruits are served indoor and the extensive lines of main dishes are prepared outside just like the local fasting season’s bazaar, but facing the vast greenery of the golf lawn. The grill section lured us with the aromatic Roasted Lamb, barbecue meats and of course, the all-time favourite, Satays.
The refreshing ambience aided my appetite, starting with their freshly-kneaded Murtabak and Parathas paired with the zesty Asam Pedas Ikan Tenggiri. It took some time for me to believe that I could enjoy this combination that is hard to get. My other two colleagues could not resist the mountain of fluffy, steamed white rice and they each took various side dishes ranging from mild Steamed Mushroom, spicy Prawn Sambal and the creamy and very hot Masak Lemak with smoked beef cuts.
Finally, do end the meal with the various cut fruits and desserts coupled with a Kopi O or Teh Tarik.
