Bringing the 4.0 Dialogue to the 4th Industrial Automation Fiesta 2019
Orange Media’s Industrial Automation Fiesta (IAF) held its annual fiesta for the 4th time this year at Dewan Mawar, Pasir Gudang, Johor from 23rd to 24th of September 2019.
Around 25 companies from industrial software, manufacturing system, tools and machines, safety, healthcare including oil and gas were there to exhibit for two days. Crowds ranged from interested individuals and local manufacturers. Few talks were held to familiarise visitors incorporating outlook on the latest technologies in the industry as well as raising awareness on management and methods like safety, impacts of industry to environments and community empowerment.
A 4.0 Dialogue was also held, focusing on Industry 4.0 as put forward by the government and it was only available by invites. Among the topics that were put out for the dialogue were aligned to Pasir Gudang’s river pollution issue, where experts from individual trainers and companies discussed and covered the subjects of manufacturing industrial issues that may or may not, directly or indirectly affect the environment.
Present as speakers were representatives from UTM, CapitaLand Malaysia Business Park & Commercial, Schneider Electric Pte. Ltd, HF Technology Sdn. Bhd., ifm Electronic Pte. Ltd, Monitor ERP System Pte. Ltd, DHL Express (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd with the presence of MPPG, MITI Johor and MIDA Johor.
Attending honourable guests at the Dialogue 4.0 were Tuan Hassan Abdul Karim, Member of Parliament, Pasir Gudang Municipal Council, Sabariah Mohd Sofiah, Director of MITI Johor and Shahzul Jayawirah Mohd Yunos, Director of MIDA Johor.
