Amari Johor Bahru did its part by providing food for the homeless by partnering with the Kechara Soup Kitchen
Amari Johor Bahru had prepared 130 boxes of packed vegetarian food and mineral water and together with the volunteers of Kechara Soup Kitchen, they distributed the food to the homeless at KTM loading bay. The volunteers also brought the food to the homeless scattered in several areas of the city.
Four of the Amari team members led by former Director of Public Relations and Marketing Communications, M.S. Bobby, were present to help the volunteers of Kechara Soup Kitchen.
“It is so touching to see the faces of these people as they received the packed food. We believe in helping the less fortunate and the community in which we live and work and we are thankful to the Johor chapter of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) and Kechara Soup Kitchen for giving us this opportunity to help the homeless,. This initiative has also brought the team together as all department heads were involved every Saturday in helping to distribute the food,” said Bobby.

One of the homes that the hotel is constantly providing aid is Pertubuhan Kebajikan Fitrah Qaseh whereby its Pekan Nenas home was recently robbed.
