A pilot project for a special joint venture programme through the Public and Private Partnership (PPP) cooperation will begin with the construction of Rumah Makmur Johor at the Nusajaya Gate Site, Mukim Tanjung Kupang, Johor Bahru.
During the launch of the model house on the 27th of November, Johor Menteri Besar, Datuk Ir. Haji Hasni Mohammad, said that the project will not only offer housing for the people but will also act as a catalyst for other economic sectors in the state.
“With the launch of the Gerbang Nusajaya pilot project, it will not only be able to provide homes, but also shift the construction, supply, banking, and numerous other sectors that will begin recovery measures after the pandemic,” he said.
Also present was the Chairman of the Johor State Housing and Local Government Committee, Tuan Haji Ayub Jamil. “It only took one month to complete the show house,” he said in a statement.
In line with the Johor Budget 2022 through the Johor Infrastructure Agenda, this special programme will be able to provide quality and high-value houses, sold at affordable prices, especially for the B40 and M40 target groups.
For Rumah Makmur Johor at Tapak Gerbang Nusajaya, there are three types of houses, namely Type C which is priced at RM300,000, Type B and A are sold at RM250,000 and RM150,000 respectively.
