Chinese New Year Reunion Set Menus at Ponderosa’s Hop Sing Chinese Restaurant will start from RM138+, all inclusive of Yee Sang from the 24th of January – 15th of February 2022.
“We are making our set menus even more affordable this year catered to patrons who hope to spend less for Chinese New Year and yet able to enjoy a delicious, home-style meal for which Hop Sing is popular for, but in a nice and quiet resort environment,” said General Manager, Tan Kai Yang.
The set menus available for lunch and dinner are catered to two group sizes – 4-6 persons as well as 7-10 persons. The lowest menu for 4-6 persons starts at RM138+ per table and will feature Fruity Yee Sang, Double-boiled Winter Melon with Chicken Soup, Sweet & Sour Fish, Boneless Chicken with Lemon Sauce, Mixed Vegetables Loh Hon Chai and dessert. The menu at RM168+ will include Fruity Yee Sang, Ginger Onion Chicken, Double-boiled Winter Melon with Chicken Soup, Sweet & Sour Fish, Brocolli with Mushrooms and dessert. The highest priced menu for the same number of persons is at RM198+ with Fruity Yee Sang, Ginger Onion Chicken, Double-boiled Winter Melon with Chicken Soup, Steamed Sea-Bass Hong Kong Style, Claypot Beancurd and dessert.
As for larger groups of 7 – 10 persons, the starting menu at RM228+ per table will include Fruity Yee Sang, Half Chicken with Ginger-paste Sauce, Fish Maw Soup, Steamed Sea-Bass Hong Kong Style, Claypot Beancurd, Mixed Vegetables Loh Hon Chai and dessert. At RM238+ per table the menu is 8 course with Fruity Yee Sang, Half Chicken with Ginger-paste Sauce, Fish Maw Soup, Sweet & Sour Fish, Claypot Beancurd, Broccoli with Mushrooms, Braised Yee Mee and dessert.
Priced at RM268+ per table, it is also 8-course with Fruity Yee Sang, Half Chicken with Ginger-paste Sauce, Fish Maw Soup, Steamed Seabass Hong-Kong Style, Claypot Beancurd, Broccoli with Mushrooms, Signature Fried Rice and dessert.
According to the resort’s newly-joined F&B Manager, SK Kuan, “This year we are offering a special version of Yee Sang which is suitable for vegetarians with a combination of fruits and vegetables. The Salmon and Grass Carp versions are also available. Prices are affordable and they are available for delivery as well, at RM5 within 10km radius.”
A’la carte Fruity Yee Sang with options for Mango or Apple is priced at RM28+ for small and RM38+ for large portions, while both Salmon Yee Sang and Grass Carp are priced at RM48+ for small and RM78+ for large portions.
