In honour of the Year of the Dragon this Chinese New Year, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is introducing a major Lego NinjaGo highlight with the launch of a mission journey based on their well-known series, Dragons Rising.
Upon entering the park, all Ninjas will get the opportunity to choose the elemental dragon power that they wish to master. Master Lloyd is requesting help from the ninjas to save the dragons and defeat the evil Lord Ras.
Participate in interactive shows and themed activities throughout the park from now until 17th March 2024. Ninjas can earn unique stickers that will help them reach their full potential as Ninjas.
“This Chinese New Year, LEGOLAND isn’t just about building bricks. It’s about building heroes! We’re blending LEGO NinjaGo’s epic adventures with Malaysian traditions, teaching families valuable lessons about friendship and believing in themselves, all while having a blast with dragons, shows, and epic ninja fun! It’s going to be a Lunar New Year they’ll never forget,” said CS Lim, Divisional Director, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, who has also joined in the fun and turned into a ninja himself on the day of the launch.
Right from The Beginning’s area, join in the School of Spinjitsu training-style show and master how to pose, chop, balance, and spin like a Ninja.
At the City Stage, a must-see live performance of LEGO NinjaGo and The Realm of Shadows featuring amazing visual mapping effects and a Japanese puppet show style will take place.
One to not miss out on this season is the meet and greet of the newest additions to LEGO NinjaGo, Sora and Arin, along with Ninja Kai and Master Wu. Ollie the Dragon would also make an appearance in his special Lunar New Year outfit. Watch out for the famous Ceng Du Opera and the mischievous Monkey King from 10 – 25th February 2024.
Ninjas would get even more NinjaGo activities with Build-A-Mech for Sora and Arin as they compete in the Crossroads Race. Welcome the Year of the Dragon by creating a personalised LEGO Brick Ultimate Dragon Build.
Contribute to the Dragon Hunt by identifying all five dragons that are missing and can be found hidden at LEGO NinjaGo World by taking a picture of each dragon, then get a special reward.
Use the Ninjas Unite backdrop to strike the perfect Ninja pose for the cameras. Ninjas could then put their newly acquired Ninja skills to the test by hopping in the LEGO NinjaGo The Ride.
On Chinese New Year day itself, enjoy a specially curated performance combining martial arts and Chinese traditional dance, featuring a guest appearance from Ollie the Dragon.
A Lion Dance and High-Pole Lion Dance performances would take place exclusively on 10th and 11th February. Ninjas could also make a wish at The Wisdom Tree with beautiful cherry blossoms.
