Recipe #2: Ayam Percik Caesar Salad
Spice up your classic Caesar salad with an oriental twist topped off with Hellmann’s Smoky Caesar salad dressing. This recipe works well as a healthy meal or a tasty appetizer.

Ingredients
For the percik sauce
20 g garlic, blended
20 g dried chillis, blended
2 pcs candle nuts, blended
10 g ginger, blended
100 g shallots, blended
5 g tumeric, blended
60 ml oil
2 pcs lemon grass, crushed
1 tsp gula melaka
1 tsp salt
50 ml water
2 tbsp tomato sauce
300 ml coconut milk / plain yogurt
4 pcs chicken breast
2 tbsp oil
6 tbsp Hellmann’s smoky Caesar dressing
1 pc yellow capsicum, grilled & sliced
1 pc red capsicum, grilled & sliced
Salad leaves
Bean salad
A handful of garlic croutons
Method
- To make the sauce, sauté blended ingredients till fragrant with lemongrass & add water, tomato sauce, coconut milk, salt & Gula Melaka. Cook till the sauce thickens.
- Add in chicken & mix well. Marinate the chicken for 2 hours.
- Heat up oil in a frying pan, pan grill the chicken until fully cooked & cut into smaller pieces.
- Serve with salad and Hellmann’s Smoky Caesar dressing.
