2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival Hosts Star-Studded Film Awards

The 35th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF), held its Film Awards at the Palm Springs Convention Center on 4th January 2024, hosted by Mary Hart. Honourees were presented with either the John Kennedy “The Entertainer” statue or a Chihuly Glass Sculpture. 

The following awards were presented at this year’s Film Awards: Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell (Chairman’s Award), Carey Mulligan (International Star Award, Actress), Cillian Murphy (Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actor), Colman Domingo (Spotlight Award, Actor), Danielle Brooks (Spotlight Award, Actress), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Breakthrough Performance Award), Emma Stone (Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress), Greta Gerwig (Director of the Year), Jeffrey Wright (Career Achievement Award), Paul Giamatti (Icon Award), and Killers of the Flower Moon – Director, Martin Scorsese, Executive Producer and Actor, Leonardo DiCaprio and Actress, Lily Gladstone (Vanguard Award). 

The presenters were America Ferrera, Blitz Bazawule, Lenny Kravitz, Leslie Uggams, Margot Robbie, Mark Ruffalo, Meryl Streep, Robert Downey, Jr., Sandra Oh, Taraji P. Henson, and Willem Dafoe.

Other guests scheduled to attend included Osage Nation Principal Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear, festival representatives Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi and Lili Rodriguez (Artistic Director).

The event was sponsored by Entertainment Tonight and IHG Hotels & Resorts.
