Organised by Mint Communications Sdn Bhd, the Private and International School Fair 2019 held their 8th bi-annual event at Renaissance Johor Bahru hotel where it hosted around 20 international institutions from pre-school to tertiary studies.
“There has been an increasing demand from parents in Johor to explore the international school options that are available to them. We hope parents find what they need from the fair to make informed decisions about their children’s education,” said Nickie Yew, Co-founder and Director of Mint Communications Sdn. Bhd.
Sharon, one of the visitors was there with her family of three and they were looking for secondary schools that would pave way for their daughter to further tertiary-level study overseas. Choosing from the many international schools can be tricky but she found it easier to hop from booth to booth to find out more information with fitting curriculum and the ones that are within her budget.
The exhibitors include Crescendo-HELP International School, Excelsior International School, Fairview International School, Orbix International School, Paragon Private & International School, R.E.A.L Schools (International and National), Raffles American School, Shattuck-St.Mary’s Forest City International School, Sunway International School and Uniworld International School. Singapore’s Hillside World Academy was also there to showcase their curriculum.
On site, parents and children also took part in the “Like a Photo to Win Contest”, jointly organised with MCM Studio to win passes to Cartoon Day Planet. Their mascot – Papamon was also seen walking around to add some fun during the fair for the children.
