Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) has recently unveiled the team and livery for the JDT Racing Team, which will compete in the Asian Road Racing Championship 2024 ASB1000 category beginning in mid-March 2024.

The JDT Racing Team would use the Ducati Panigale V4R and be led by Malaysian former MotoGP rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah, who had already begun pre-season testing at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit at the end of February.

Hafizh’s bike would be tuned by two mechanics specially brought in from the Ducati Racing Team, crew chief Loris Caroli and mechanic Edoardo Ardemagni, both of whom have extensive experience in two-wheel motorsports.

Caroli has extensive experience as a Senior Testing Operator and Track Engineer for a variety of motorsport companies, including Ferrari S.P.A., Clinica della Moto, Team VFT, and HPE S.r.l. Ardemagni also works as a mechanic for the Italy-based Barni Racing Team Ducati.

JDT has announced the signing of Hafizh Syahrin along with the formation of the Motorsports Racing branch in October 2023.

JDT Racing Team would start the ARRC 2024 season at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, from 15th – 17th March before concluding the six-race championship at the same circuit from 6th – 8th December 2024.
