In honour of National Diabetes Month, ecoBrown’s has launched MILES with ecoBrown’s, a month-long virtual walkathon event aimed at raising awareness about the growing concerns over diabetes in Malaysia while inspiring Malaysians to walk for a good cause and improve their overall well-being.

Sharing the same vision of creating awareness, prevention and education of diabetes, ecoBrown’s has partnered with Diabetes Malaysia in a bid to realise both parties’ vision and to help Diabetes Malaysia continue their life-saving endeavours. Once a collective 500,000 miles walked from all participants during the campaign period were reached, a total of RM25,000 will be donated to Diabetes Malaysia. ecoBrown’s has also partnered up with  Khind Malaysia, ARISSTO and KPJ Healthcare to further support the cause.

Participants can register for the virtual walkathon for free via the BookDoc mobile app. Those who sign up will be enrolled into a draw to win gifts and giveaways worth up to RM1.2 million. Participants who pay an RM20 registration fee and reach their personal target of 100,000 steps will receive special ecoBrown’s goods. MILES with ecoBrown’s allows participants to walk and accomplish their steps at their own pace and location due to the current pandemic crisis.

Therefore, together with Diabetes Malaysia, we have launched the MILES with ecoBrown’s virtual walkathon event to not only raise awareness on diabetes, but to help Malaysians who are potentially at risk of diabetes to achieve a wholesome and well-balanced lifestyle,” said Zishi Low, Director of Serba Wangi.
