During the holy month of fasting, Columbia Asia Hospital – Tebrau hospital as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility programme, organised a traditional porridge (bubur lambuk) in the gotong-royong exercise to prepare the dish. The objective of this activity is to promote unity as well as to foster closer working relationship among staff and doctors where everybody could come together and cook a little warm bowl of porridge during the holy month.
In view of the MCO, the hospital arranged a drive thru distribution to the community and there were many who came by to collect the bubur lambuk including from surrounding neighbourhood and hospital patients. There were total of 300 packs of porridge distributed out in just a short period.
