The Aku, Muzik & Kamu Music Festival captivated a big throng of over 10,000 avid music enthusiasts last Saturday, 20 May 2023, at the EduCity Sports Complex in Iskandar Puteri.
This extraordinary 8-hour concert festival, which began at 3 pm, was headlined by electrifying performances by renowned Malaysian and Indonesian bands such as HUJAN, Ungu, Kerispatih & Sammy Simorangkir, Insomniacks, Bunkface, D’Masiv, 6ixth Sense, Spider, and Akim & The Majistret, leaving attendees in awe and craving more.
The audience danced to popular favourites such as Pagi Yang Gelap (HUJAN), Cinta Dalam Hati (Ungu), Pulang (Insomniacks), Saksama (Akim & The Majistret), Relaku Pujuk (Spider), and many more, armed with concert goods such as t-shirts, lanyards, and hand fans.
The Aku, Muzik & Kamu Music Festival, held at the sports complex’s outdoor stadium, provided an unprecedented atmosphere that delighted the senses and fired the spirit of celebration. Throughout the event, the entire space was vibrating with anticipation and pure exhilaration, creating a truly spectacular environment.
Aside from the spectacular acts, the event featured over 30 food vendors from MaQan Space to meet visitors’ different preferences, providing an amazing gourmet experience that perfectly complemented the festival’s ambience.
The event was organised by Co:action Events Sdn Bhd and backed by Tourism Johor, Persada Johor International Convention Centre, BestFM, Chow Chow, MaQan, and Visit Johor as the first of its type in Johor. Meanwhile, promotional operations were carried out via official radio stations hotfm and buletinfm, as well as Oh Bulan!, Seismik, SirapLimau, and Xtra! Ramada Hotel was named the Official Hotel and Batik Air was named the Official Airline.

Noh Salleh, the lead vocalist of HUJAN, expressed gratitude to fans who journeyed from near and far to witness the band perform at the music event, noting that the band had not performed in the Southern Peninsular since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I learned that there were fans that came all the way from Singapore, Indonesia and East Malaysia. Thank you so much to our fans and also to Co:action Events for making this possible,” he said.
The event left an indelible impact on the hearts of all spectators with its amazing performances, energetic vibes, and outstanding coolness. As the festival came to a close, excitement built for the following iteration, which promised even more musical ecstasy.
