Recipe #3: Broccoli and Shrimp Rice Bowl
Transform your ordinary rice bowl to extraordinary by adding a hint of seafood with a hint of garlic flavour. This makes a perfect and quick meal for last minute dinner dates!

4 cups cooked rice
2 tbsp oil
400 g medium size prawns, peeled & deveined
1 pip garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, minced
2 tbsp honey
Salt & pepper to taste
A handful of lightly toasted white sesame seeds
8 tbsp Hellmann’s Smoky Thousand Island dressing
4 cups broccoli (bite size florets), blanched & set aside
1 avocado, sliced
8 radishes, sliced
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
Chilli flakes (optional)
- In a frying pan, heat up oil and fry garlic & ginger till aromatic. Add prawns and stir for 2 – 3 minutes till the prawns curl up and turn pink. Add honey, salt, pepper & sesame seeds. Give it a good mix and remove from heat.
- To assemble rice bowl, divide rice into 4 bowls and arrange prawns & other vegetables creatively. Drizzle Hellmann’s Smoky Thousand Island dressing generously.
