Singapore Tourism Board (Malaysia), together with partners Captain Oats and Mandai Wildlife Group, will be introducing to Malaysian families the “Captain’s Holiday Bundle”, an enriching bundle of activities and virtual travel experiences for the holiday season. From the 12th of December 2021 until the 28th of February 2022, the whole family can enjoy virtual edutainment activities and bond over travel experiences while exploring nutritional alternatives available within the programme.
“Singapore is one of the favourite family-friendly destinations in the region. Many Malaysian families with young children visit Singapore to bond, explore and cultivate beautiful memories together. This collaboration is a sneak peek at the wholesome experiences that families can anticipate rediscovering when they are ready to travel to Singapore. With the announcement of the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) between Singapore and Malaysia, Singapore is ready to welcome families back to explore and reimagine new travel experiences in a safe and meaningful way,” said Dawn Ng, Area Director, Malaysia & Brunei Singapore Tourism Board.
Families with young children is an important source of travellers from Malaysia to Singapore pre-pandemic and will continue to be a key growth segment. With the implementation of VTL and resumption of travel commutes between both countries, Malaysian families can look forward to many exciting happenings and new experiences in Singapore, such as Brickosaurs World at Singapore Zoo and River Wonders, Museum of Ice Cream, and Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration exhibition.
Nutritional Alternatives from Captain Oats for your family’s well-being
Captain Oats will be offering a special bundle filled with healthy oat alternatives and educational elements that families can get creative together. Whether it is learning how to cook and experiment with various oat recipes or plating and decorating a bowl of oats, it can turn out to be fun and nutritious activities for families to do together during the holidays.
